We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in meal preparation and food service, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service during peak hours.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
Proficient in meal preparation and food handling techniques.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen.
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not require
