We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. Part time and full time options available. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and handling, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our customers while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. ADDITIONAL opportunities include working and learning on site at large scale events.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary. Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and safety practices. Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.

Requirements

A VALID G LICENSE IS REQUIRED AS OUR FACILITY IS NOT ON ANY CITY BUS ROUTES.

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for handling ingredients. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for cooking and providing exceptional dining experiences.
