Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities



Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary. Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices.

Qualifications



Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or similar setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $15.25-$28.85 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
