Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Assist in the planning of menus and meal preparation schedules. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food handling and preparation techniques.

Skills

Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and creativity in meal presentation is highly valued.

Pay: $17.50-$19.50 per hour
