Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Food Service Associate. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth operation within our food service environment. Duties

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, for processing customer transactions efficiently. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in accordance with health regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and handling within the food industry. Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Micros POS, is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $17.20-$26.05 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 44 per week
