Victory Lane Speedway, St. Adolphe, Manitoba Victory Lane Speedway is a dirt track speedway located 10 minutes south of Winnipeg on Highway 75. Our concessions serve approximately 2000 guests in about 4 hours. We are seeking a seeking an energetic, reliable, and hard working individual to join our Concession Team and manage a young eager group of employees in which this may be their first job. Our menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken fingers, perogies, taco in a bag, ice cream, and fresh squeezed lemonaide. Must be able to work 12 hours on Race Days - June 15, June 22, and then every Thursday. Evening ends approximately 11:00 PM. Qualifications
Contract length: 3 months Pay: $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 12 per week Benefits:
- Adult with at least 2 years of experience in a fast-food industry.
- Experience with supervising young workers.
- Safe Food Handling Certificate.
- Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license or reliable transportation as there is no bus service to the speedway.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced concession and tolerate heat as the temperature can be high at times.
- Standing/walking for long hours.
- Ability to bend and lift boxes of frozen food.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of approximately 10-15 young workers who prepare, portion, and serve food.
- Cooks and grills food.
- Ensures safe, sanitary food storage and production.
- Ensures a high quality of food preparation and speed of output.
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness, organization, and storage of food and other items.
- Able to work in a team environment and provide oversight, guidance, and encouragement to workers during stressful times.
- Oversees and participates in the cleaning of the concession.
