Victory Lane Speedway, St. Adolphe, ManitobaVictory Lane Speedway is a dirt track speedway located 10 minutes south of Winnipeg on Highway 75. Our concessions serve approximately 2000 guests in about 4 hours. We are seeking a seeking an energetic, reliable, and hard working individual to join our Concession Team and manage a young eager group of employees in which this may be their first job.Our menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken fingers, perogies, taco in a bag, ice cream, and fresh squeezed lemonaide.Must be able to work 12 hours on Race Days - June 15, June 22, and then every Thursday. Evening ends approximately 11:00 PM.Qualifications

• Adult with at least 2 years of experience in a fast-food industry.
• Experience with supervising young workers.
• Safe Food Handling Certificate.
• Drivers license or reliable transportation as there is no bus service to the speedway.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced concession and tolerate heat as the temperature can be high at times.
• Standing/walking for long hours.
• Ability to bend and lift boxes of frozen food.
• Must be able to work under pressure.

• Supervise and coordinate activities of approximately 10-15 young workers who prepare, portion, and serve food.
• Cooks and grills food.
• Ensures safe, sanitary food storage and production.
• Ensures a high quality of food preparation and speed of output.
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness, organization, and storage of food and other items.
• Able to work in a team environment and provide oversight, guidance, and encouragement to workers during stressful times.
• Oversees and participates in the cleaning of the concession.
