Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards. Manage inventory of food supplies, ensuring proper storage and rotation to minimize waste. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food handling procedures, and safety practices. Monitor food presentation and portion control to ensure consistency across all dishes served.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and meal preparation processes. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations related to food handling. Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
