Position Overview:
We seek a Cook at Glacier Greens Golf Course who also enjoys customer service! As it is not peak season, there may be days when you are required to wear multiple hats and operate the POS while serving customers. The ideal candidate will have at least one year experience in a commercial kitchen environment. Experience in cooking for large groups or catering will be considered a significant asset.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Ensure the quality, freshness, and presentation of all dishes meet the highest standards.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels and food supplies.
Collaborate with ownership to develop and execute new menu items.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 years of experience working as a Cook in a commercial kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Experience with cooking for large groups or catering is considered a significant asset.
