We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at The Flats Eatery + Drink. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a collaborative team, we would love to hear from you.

Duties

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with serving food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Handle food items safely, adhering to proper food handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery. Participate in inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies. Support the team during peak service times by assisting with various kitchen tasks.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or kitchen settings, is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Skills in meal preparation, cooking, and food handling are highly valued. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving customers. Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
