The cook will prepare high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards.

Duties and responsibilities
Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items
Cook menu items using various kitchen tools/equipment and cooking methods
Make adjustments to menu to accommodate clients with specific diet and health concerns
Store ingredients at proper temperatures and proper packaging
Ensure that food portions and food presentation meet company standards
Plan menus and ordering stock
Inspect deliveries to ensure integrity
Select and follow recipes
Measure, weigh and mix ingredients
Sanitize food preparation areas
Maintain all kitchen equipment and utensils sanitized and tidy
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and order
Follow food health and safety protocols
Requirements and qualifications
Physically able to withstand extended hours of standing, bending and moving around
Food handler certificate
Organized and able to follow a schedule
Ability to follow recipe instructions
Attention to detail
Ability to work with little supervision
Client-oriented and friendly
Time management skill
