We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared with care and attention to detail. This position requires a blend of creativity, efficiency, and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Ensure that all food handling and safety procedures are followed meticulously. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to ensure it meets our high standards. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques is essential. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary skills is highly valued.

Pay: $34.10 per hour
