Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the planning and execution of daily meal preparation, ensuring timely service. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures within the food industry. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation. Dish washing.
