We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a COOK - Tandoori Specialist. As a COOK, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, assisting with meal preparation and ensuring food safety standards are met on the Tandoor and Bread Section. Duties:
Assist with meal preparation on the Tandoor Sides, including Breads, Tikka's and appetizers.
Assisting in chopping ingredients, measuring portions, and following recipes.
Cook and prepare food items according to established standards and recipes.
Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices.
Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
Inspect kitchens and food service areas
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Clean kitchen and work areas
Manage kitchen operations on the Tandoor Side.
Qualifications:
2 TO 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Basic understanding of food safety regulations and practices
