Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Assist with meal preparation and food handling to maintain efficiency in the kitchen.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal offerings.
Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout all food preparation processes.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and meal preparation methods is beneficial.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant setting while maintaining attention to detail.
