Overview


We are seeking 6 passionate, experienced, and organized Cook Supervisor with with at least 2 years of experience and expertise in Nigerian cuisine to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will supervise kitchen staff, ensure food quality and safety stand0ards, and prepare a wide variety of traditional Nigerian dishes. Key Responsibilities: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of kitchen staff involved in food preparation and service Prepare authentic Nigerian dishes including but not limited to Afang Soup, Atama Soup, Babafofo, Banga Soup, Black Soup Edikaikong Soup, Editan Soup, Efo-Riro, Egusi Soup, Fisherman Soup Ofe Akwu, Ofe Nsala, Ofe Onugbu, Ofe Owerri, Ogbono Soup Oha Soup, Rivers Native Soup, Seafood, Okra, and Ukazi Soup Ensure meals are prepared in accordance with dietary or special customer requests Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for daily and weekly operations Establish and implement work schedules, kitchen procedures, and staff rotations Train kitchen staff in food preparation, sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards Maintain accurate records of food inventory, stock levels.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise the restaurant team to ensure efficient service and high customer satisfaction Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring consistency and quality in meal presentation Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards in all kitchen activities Assist with meal preparation during busy periods to support team operations Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed by all staff members Train new team members on food safety, service protocols, and kitchen procedures Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers as needed Uphold cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas Serve as a role model for excellent customer service and professional conduct

Qualifications



Proven experience in Nigerian Native food service, including serving, food preparation, cooking, or restaurant roles Strong background in the Nigerian food industry with a focus on meal preparation and food safety practices Previous Nigerian kitchen experience preferred, with knowledge of food handling regulations Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of Nigerian restaurant operations and customer service standards Minimum Education - High School
