Cook Required for Seniors' Living Facility

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years' experience in cooking who has a flexible, willing, and positive attitude. The right applicant will have provincial certification in food safety and hygiene and standard first aid certification. A current satisfactory criminal record check is required. Journeyman Cook certification is considered an asset.


About the position:

This is a permanent Part-Time position. Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Shifts to cover in this position are: 8am to 4pm, and/or 10:30am to 6:30pm. After 6 months of employment, cost sharing benefits are offered with this position.

Basic Responsibilities of the position include:

Prepping and cooking for 50+ people per meal Following the established menu plan Maintaining a clean and well-organized kitchen. Ordering food and kitchen inventory. Liaising with residents by assisting with serving Cleanup in the dining room as required.
