Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in the planning and execution of meal preparation for various dining services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on food handling practices and cooking techniques. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals for guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $16.50 per hour
