Overview

Poissonnerie du Creek, a proud local seafood restaurant in the Acadian Peninsula, is hiring two full-time Cooks to join our team. Each position is 40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible. Work conditions include early mornings, daytime, weekends, and shift schedules. Experience is an asset, but not required.

Experience an asset, but not required - open to training inexperienced candidates Experience in seafood lobster/fish meat handling is a strong asset

Work setting

Restaurant in a rural/remote location (Pokemouche, NB) No public transportation available - own transportation required Seafood retail and kitchen environment

Tasks

Prepare and cook seafood and related dishes (lobster, fish, etc.) Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Clean kitchen and work areas Support kitchen operations as needed Suggest seasonal menu items using locally available seafood
