We have an opening for a part time cook to join our team. Hours per week will vary as this position is intended to provide relief to full time employees during vacation or sick time leave. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Assist in the planning of menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Experience
Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with a focus on food preparation and cooking.
Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that satisfy customer needs.
