Overview We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking in a restaurant setting. Duties - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing food items - Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to set recipes - Operate kitchen equipment safely and adhere to proper food handling procedures - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation - Follow food safety standards and guidelines at all times Requirements - Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred BUT NOT REQUIRERED - Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team - Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays And on -call
