We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food service, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that delight our guests while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food preparation is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
