We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a genuine love for meal preparation. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious and high-quality meals that meet our customers' expectations. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that all food is prepared safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the planning and preparation of meals, ensuring timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices. Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure it meets our high standards. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Familiarity with meal preparation, food handling, and kitchen operations is essential. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food industry is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
