We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of meal preparation in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals that meet our standards for taste and presentation. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
