Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our guests.

Responsibilities

Determine the size of food portions and costs Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances Inspect kitchens and food service areas Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food Order supplies and equipment Supervise kitchen staff and helpers Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment Clean kitchen and work areas Recruit and hire staff Manage kitchen operations

Skills

Experience in food preparation or the food service industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A background in hospitality or restaurant settings is a plus. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks as needed.

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
