Are you passionate about cooking and love creating healthy, delicious meals for children? Join our team at Through the Years Early Learning Centre, where you can make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing them with nutritious meals to fuel their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare balanced, child-friendly meals and snacks in accordance with nutritional guidelines and dietary restrictions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Order, store, and manage inventory of ingredients and kitchen supplies. Collaborate with staff to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies. Foster a welcoming and positive environment in the kitchen.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a cook, preferably in a child care or school setting. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices (e.g., food handling certification). Ability to plan menus that are nutritious, appealing, and age-appropriate. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A love for working with children and contributing to their well-being.
