The Cook will be responsible for preparing bulk meals/food for the Family SOS Lunchbox Project offsite programs. Cooking duties may include but are not limited to preparing 550 meals a week: 200 meals on Tuesday, 200 meals on Wednesday and 150 meals on Thursday.
The cook is also responsible for creation of a rotating menu, food preparation and packaging, keeping track of fridge, freezer, and pantry inventory, communicating with their supervisor to order food, and maintaining kitchen upkeep and a thorough clean up at the end of each shift.
Cleaning duties may include but are not limited to cleaning floors, washing dishes and kitchen equipment, removing garbage, and notifying management of the need for repairs.
