Job Title: Cook
Monday to Friday 7am-3pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef/Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a positive work environment. As a Chef, you will demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent culinary knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Duties:
- Plan and execute menu items in accordance with food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Proficiency in all aspects of kitchen operations
- Experience in restaurant and bartending settings
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating culinary delights
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and management
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as cook or in a similar role
- Certification in food service or culinary arts is preferred
- English required, French is an asset
