We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen operations and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste, presentation, and safety. This position requires a keen understanding of food handling and preparation techniques, as well as adherence to food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Assist in the planning and execution of daily menus, including special dietary needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during meal service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred, with a focus on food service and meal preparation. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry is essential. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Strong communication skills to effectively work within a team environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation.

Pay: $15.65-$16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
