Main duties
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods or special meals
Schedule and supervise activities of line cook, prep cook, and other kitchen staff as well as train kitchen staff
Oversee kitchen operations
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Clean kitchen and work area
May plan new menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
May set up and oversee buffets
Employment requirements
Have several years of commercial cooking experience (Thai, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Asian cuisine, and/or Deep Frying)
Have a food safety certification recognized in NB, before the start date of employment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
