Prepare food ingredients including mixing, kneading, and baking.
Prepare and cook meals according to customer orders.
Check the quantity and quality of received products to ensure items are as ordered and standards are met.
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
Ordering inventory, receiving vendor's deliveries, and customer service.
Perform inventory checks to ensure that bakery is fully stocked with needed items.
Package take-out food
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
Comply with food sanitation requirements and maintain cleanliness of workstation and cooking surfaces through proper handling of food, practicing appropriate food storage, and adhering to personal sanitation and hygiene rules
Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers.
Oversee kitchen operations.
Set up food display area.
Clean kitchen and work area
Preparation of the following meals, soups, and snacks: Nigerian Jollof rice, White soup, Egusi soup, Black Rice, Banga soup, Spring roll, Village rice, Okazi soup, Samosa, Oha soup, Edikaikong soup, Meat pie, Ofe-Onugbu, Afang soup, Chicken pie, Nigeria suya spice, Agege bread, Sardine bread, Fish roll, Cinnamon roll, Ginger and Butter rice, Scotch Egg, Cup cake, Special BBQ chicken.
Employment requirements
Completion of secondary school is required.
Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or food safety or minimum of 5 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
Previous experience cooking Nigeria delicacy is a great asset
