Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and service, with a commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality. Assist in the planning and execution of meal preparation, including daily specials and seasonal menus. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication during service hours. Help train new kitchen staff in food handling procedures and cooking techniques as needed. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred, with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
