Job Title: Cook + Delivery Driver (Friday-Sunday, Day Shift) - Ethnic Bunny Inc

Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Job Type: Full-time (Friday, Saturday, Sunday - Day Shift)

About Us:

Ethnic Bunny Inc is a startup dedicated to providing fresh, healthy, and delicious school meals for kids, along with authentic South Asian ethnic meals for adults on weekends. We operate from an online commissary kitchen and deliver meals straight to doorsteps across the GTA.

We are looking for a skilled cook who can also handle meal deliveries during the day shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The ideal candidate should have experience in meal preparation and be comfortable driving to ensure timely food deliveries.

Responsibilities:

Cooking (15-20 hours per week - Day Shift)

• Prepare and cook authentic South Asian dishes for weekend deliveries
• Follow menu guidelines and ensure meals are fresh and nutritious
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Follow food safety standards and regulations
• Manage inventory and ensure ingredients are fresh and available
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Delivery (15-20 hours per week - Day Shift)

• Pick up and deliver freshly prepared meals to customers on time
• Ensure food is handled with care and delivered in good condition
• Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude with customers
• Handle cash or digital payments (if applicable)
• Communicate with the team regarding any delivery issues or delays

Requirements:

• 2+ years of cooking experience, preferably in meal prep or catering
• Valid G-class driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (car or van preferred)
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (Food Handler Certification preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Passion for creating healthy, nutritious meals and authentic South Asian dishes
• Punctual, responsible, and customer-friendly attitude
• Ability to lift and carry meal packages if required
• Preference will be given to culinary school students
