Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly handled.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure timely service and food delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Participate in menu planning and development, offering input for new dishes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
