Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and kitchen operations.
Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, feedback, and improvements.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food handling, food safety practices, and meal preparation techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
