Handle food safely and responsibly, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Assist with meal preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and assembling dishes.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
