Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in the planning of menus and daily specials, considering seasonal ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in ongoing training and development related to culinary skills and food safety.

Requirements

Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.

Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
