Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry, including serving, food handling, and meal preparation, while working with children in an collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation areas Follow proper food handling procedures to comply with safety regulations Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces Support team members during busy hours by assisting with meal assembly and service tasks Adhere to all health and safety guidelines related to food industry standards

Experience

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred training will be provided Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is required Familiarity with meal preparation, cooking methods, and food industry standards is beneficial Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
