Sous la direction du directeur de succursale, le titulaire du poste participe aux activites quotidiennes de la succursale et s'assure que le materiel de location est disponible pour les commandes.

Veuillez noter que notre succursale demenage prochainement a Saint-Hyacinthe. Ce poste sera base dans les nouveaux locaux de Saint-Hyacinthe.



Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the incumbent assists with the daily operations of the branch and ensures rental equipment is available for orders.

Please note that our branch will be moving to Saint-Hyacinthe shortly. This role will be based out of the new Saint-Hyacinthe location.
Responsabilites principalesMaintient un environnement de travail securitaire en suivant les directives d'Airgas/Red-D-Arc en matiere de sante et de securite. Fournit un excellent service a la clientele a tous les comptes. Assure le suivi des prospects envoyes dans la region via le Web, les associations, etc. Assure un suivi rapide des demandes des clients. Veille a ce que les clients qui se presentent spontanement soient pris en charge rapidement, y compris pour les retours d'equipement. Traite les paiements par carte de credit. Communique quotidiennement avec le representant commercial externe au sujet des demandes de renseignements et/ou des commandes recues. Prepare les devis pour les ventes externes et les envoie par fax aux clients selon les besoins. Coordonne les besoins en equipement pour assurer l'execution efficace des commandes et la maitrise des couts. Planifie et dirige les commandes des clients avec le service apres-vente. Communique avec le service apres-vente et/ou le responsable de l'atelier concernant les expeditions d'equipements et organise les commandes pour l'expedition. Assure la bonne generation des contrats de location et des documents associes. Organise le transfert de marchandises et le transport. Aide a l'achat aupres des fournisseurs. Aide a la gestion des stocks de pieces et d'equipements. Effectue d'autres taches connexes selon les besoins.

Key ResponsibilitesMaintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc's health and safety guidelines. Provides excellent customer service to all accounts. Provides follow-up to leads that are sent to the area via Web, Associations, etc. Provides timely follow-up to customer's requests. Ensures walk in customers are handled in a timely manner including equipment returns. Processes credit card charges. Communicates daily with Outside Sales Associate on inquiries and/or orders received. Prepares quotes for outside sales and fax to clients are required. Coordinates equipment requirements for efficient order fulfillment and cost containment Plans and directs customer orders with the service deparment Communicates with the service department and/or shop supervisor in regards to equipment shipments and arranges orders for shipment. Ensures proper generation of rental agreements and associated documents. Arranges freight and transportation. Assists with vendor purchasing. Assists with parts and equipment inventories. Performs other related duties as required.

Competences et aptitudes:Souci du detail et solides competences organisationnelles. Capacite a etablir efficacement des relations avec les clients et les collegues. Une experience dans la vente d'equipements industriels ou dans la vente ou la location d'equipements de soudage (idealement dans les secteurs de la construction, de la fabrication et/ou de la production) est un atout. Capacite a mener plusieurs taches de front et a travailler de maniere autonome avec peu de supervision. Capacite a travailler dans un environnement dynamique au sein d'une equipe. Capacite a prendre des decisions critiques tout en respectant les procedures de l'entreprise. Capacite a agir de maniere proactive ou a trouver une solution aux problemes lies au travail. Capacite a s'adapter pour definir et hierarchiser les taches en fonction des differentes exceptions. Capacite a travailler avec une grande variete de personnes ayant des personnalites et des parcours differents. Communique avec clarte, verbalement dans des situations individuelles ou en groupe, et au telephone. Communique bien par ecrit en redigeant des documents clairs.

Education:Post secondary education equivalent to a College diploma.

Experience:Greater than three years of customer service in an industrial/rental environment is preferred. Working knowledge of positioning equipment, welding applications and equipment is an asset.

Skills and Abilities:Attention to detail and solid organizational skills. Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers. Sales experience in either an industrial equipment rental or a welding equipment sales or rental environment (ideally construction, fabrication, and/or manufacturing sectors) an asset. Ability to multi-task and work independently with little supervision. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures. Ability to act proactively or find a solution with work-related problems. Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions. Ability to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds. Communicates with clarity, verbally in one on one or group situations, and over the telephone. Communicates well in writing by composing clear documents.
