The Conversion Technician provides post-sale technical expertise to ensure seamless implementation, configuration, and operation of company products and solutions. Acting as the technical bridge between the HS1 and its customers, this role ensures all conversion and installation activities meet performance standards, support customer requirements, and align with defined specifications. The Conversion Technician plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction, optimizing system performance, and driving operational excellence post-deployment.





Key Responsibilities


Execute and support system conversions and configurations for customers by collecting customer data and running conversions from a variety of competitor software. Provide technical troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of routine to complex customer issues related to conversions during and after implementation. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams--including Engineering, Product, and Sales--to ensure technical requirements and timelines are met. Customize configurations or installations to meet specific customer environments and operational needs. Maintain regular communication with customers and internal teams throughout the implementation and post-installation phases, ensuring all conversion activities align with expectations. Document processes, configurations, and technical resolutions to support knowledge management and future process improvements. Identify and recommend enhancements to tools, procedures, and workflows that improve efficiency and customer outcomes.
Qualifications


Post-secondary education in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. 3-5 years of experience in system conversions, technical implementation, or technical support. Knowledge of SQL, relational database structure, & CSV data formats is an asset but not essential Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently in complex system environments. Strong communication and customer engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear, actionable guidance. Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
