Iron Code Engineering Company Ltd (ICE) is a highly respected controls automation company complete with a team of experienced controls system specialists that tackle a variety of customer driven unique controls needs. ICE designs, builds, and commissions controls system packages for different customers all over North America. Iron Code customers include major organizations in the forestry and mining industries.

With our growing positive reputation, Iron Code Engineering needs to continue to expand to meet the demands of our clientele.

Iron Code is looking for Engineers, EIT, Technologists, and or controls technicians to fill the full-time position available within the organization.

TYPE OF CANDIDATE

Iron Code is looking for the

right individual who has the personality to fit in with our existing team. The person should have a calculated, easy going, honest, yet goal driven personality.

The position can present a variety of undertakings, so the chosen individual must be able to be flexible and have ability to learn multiple different skillsets. Personal assets and abilities that would be desirable for the applicant to possess would be:

Self-starter. Ability to read and understand electrical drawings. Ability to sit down and go through technical manuals and specifications as well as to write technical manuals.
Be capable of following detailed instructions on tasks they are presented.

ADVANTAGEOUS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

In the selection process, it would be considered extremely advantageous if the potential candidate for the position had experience in some of the following fields:

Allen Bradley Control Logix Studio Software.*
PLC programming software. Allen Bradley Factory Talk View Software.*
HMI programming software. Allen Bradley PowerFlex VFD and/or Siemens Sinamics VFD experience.*
VFD hardware and software. AutoCAD type electrical drawing experience.*
Experience with Microsoft Office Software, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.*
Possible pervious experience with VB.NET.*
Possible previous experience developing Web Pages.*

EMPLOYEE TASKS

The position that ICE is looking to fill would have the employee completing a variety of tasks. Tasks the individual may be asked to complete once they are a main system specialist at Iron Code may include:

PLC Controls System Layout and Design VFD (Variable Frequency Drives) System Layout and Design Control System Drafting Programming of PLC Control Systems Programming of VFD Systems Programming of HMIs (Human Machine Interface). Controls System Product Development and Testing Field Commissioning of new systems and Service of existing systems Troubleshooting or phone support for running systems

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
