We're Hiring: Controls & HVAC Service Technician - Dartmouth, NS

Ready for a new challenge? Advanced Energy Management Ltd. is seeking a Controls & HVAC Service Technician in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

What You'll Be Doing:

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC mechanical and control systems.

Diagnose system issues, provide technical solutions, and recommend improvements to optimize performance.

Deliver great customer service by building relationships and offering proactive recommendations.

Manage work orders efficiently, ensuring timely completion, accurate reporting, and effective coordination with team members and other trades.

Conduct retrofits, installations, start-ups, and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

What We're Looking For:

HVAC Journeyman with 1-3 years of service experience.

Gas Fitter 1 or Oil Burner certification (or working toward completion) is an asset.

Good knowledge of HVAC, controls, and energy management systems.

Excellent customer service and communication skills; additional languages an asset.

Ability to prioritize work orders, troubleshoot effectively, and collaborate with other trades.

Self-motivated with strong technical and interpersonal skills, including mentoring ability.
