SYSTEM LEAD ENGINEER

Summary:

We are looking for a motivated System Engineer to lead the development and integration of railway door systems. You will oversee system design, performance, compliance, and safety from concept to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Define, manage, and verify system-level requirements. Ensure compliance with railway standards (EN, IEC, ISO). Develop system architecture, interfaces, and functional blocks. Lead design reviews, verification & validation strategies, and testing activities. Support R&D, quality, manufacturing, and field service teams. Provide technical expertise to customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor's in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent) + 8-10 years in multi-disciplinary system development. Autonomous, team-oriented, detail-focused, creative, practical, excellent technical judgment. Fully bilingual (French & English). Willing to travel internationally (~10-15%).

Assets:

Experience with electromechanical, railway door, or safety-critical systems (SIL-level). Knowledge of CAD (SolidWorks), MBSE/V-model, and requirement management tools (IBM DOORS). Passenger transport or aerospace industry experience.
