Your role in our team

  • You will work as part of a multi-discipline team to perform complex design, development, maintenance, enhancement, testing, and support of Material Handling Automation Equipment
  • You will develop, deploy, and commission PLC code to achieve system functionality requirements
  • You will support the electrical control design of complex systems that integrate hardware and software
  • You will complete estimates for control engineering level of effort
  • You will review complex customer standards specifications and other documentation to determine electrical control requirements
  • You will complete recommendations for ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction, and improvement in customer satisfaction
  • You will complete the software quality process through the execution of complex module, subsystem, and system test procedures
Your profile
  • You have obtained a Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas
  • You gained one to two (1-2) years of academic or professional experience in a related field and successful demonstration of Knowledge and Responsibilities
  • You have current experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider PLC programming languages, architecture, and networks. Other platforms are a plus
  • You have network design experience using Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus, ASI Bus, and Modbus TCP industrial control/IT networks
  • Experience working with large-scale industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, MCCs, and electrical power distribution systems
  • Experience with conveyor system electrical controls (Parcel, Mail) including BarCode and Vision systems would be an asset
  • You have expertise in understanding Electrical schematics (Control Panels, Motor Control Panels, Motor Control Centers, and Power Distribution)
  • You are experienced in applying complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures within the area of specialization
  • Competent user of Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows operating systems
  • Strong command of the English language with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges and tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Dependable with a great work ethic and attendance
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Experience establishing a good working relationship with all customers and delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • A driving license in good standing is essential
  • You are able to travel up to 75%
