The Controls Designer is responsible for multiple duties, and will have 5+ years of related experience with AutoCAD Electrical with an Automation background. They will be part of a team that designs and implements electrical prints, automation and drives projects, including safety and IT-interfaces for all production machinery in manufacturing. They will ensure a variety of tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. These responsibilities include working closely with Mechanical design and shop floor employees to ensure electrical prints are following codes and issued in a timely manner.

Qualifications

The following are the minimum requirements for the position:

Minimum 5 years' experience A two-year technical degree, or a four-year degree in related field Ability to work in AutoCad to design electrical and pneumatic prints Ability to travel as required Previous experience in the automation industry is a plus Strong organizational and workload planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities Ability to organize and schedule tasks Effective verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $32.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
