:Job Title: Contract - Controller (3 months)Location: Niagara Region, ON - On-SiteSeeking a Controller for a 3-month contract to lead the finance function for a dynamic and collaborative manufacturing organization. This role involves managing financial operations, supervising a small team, and ensuring timely execution of month-end and year-end activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong business acumen, accounting expertise, and leadership skills.Key Responsibilities: Oversee financial operations, including reporting, month-end, and year-end processes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to direct reports.
- Support leadership with a proactive mindset, driving timely decisions and streamlining processes.
- Collaborate on KPI development and system evaluation initiatives.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to deadlines.
- 10+ years of senior-level finance experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Business-savvy with excellent prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
