Position Overview:

The Financial Controller will oversee the finance team and ensure that the day-to-day operations of the finance department run efficiently, meeting all deadlines. This role is responsible for project reporting, preparing accurate and timely financial statements on a monthly basis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the finance team, providing leadership and guidance Ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the finance department, meeting internal and external deadlines. Prepare timely, accurate monthly financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders. Develop and maintain effective financial controls, policies, and procedures. Manage project reporting, including tracking budgets, analyzing variances, and ensuring financial accountability. Coordinate the preparation of year-end audits and liaise with external auditors. Monitor cash flow, manage forecasting, and oversee budgeting processes. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Qualifications:

CPA designation (required). A minimum of 3-5 years of post-designation experience in a similar role. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop a team. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting. Experience with project reporting and financial planning. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
