**Thanks in advance for the interest, but if you do not have a valid work permit please don\xe2\x80\x99t apply to this position*Our client, one of Montreal\xe2\x80\x99s leading clothing manufacturers, is looking for a dedicated Controller to oversee their accounting department.Responsibilities:Reporting to the President and COO, the Controller will be responsible for the following:
\xc2\xb7 Oversee and complete all aspects of accounting including invoicing, payroll, receivables and payables.
- Manage and comply with provincial and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Preparation of the monthly financial reporting package and assistance with requests from Officers
- Working with Operations to implement and oversee internal controls, monitor cost overruns and provide analysis.
- Preparation of quarterly and annual reporting for company Auditors.
- Assist with other projects as required.
\xc2\xb7 CPA completed, or in-process (designation is a strong asset)
\xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills in both English and French.
\xc2\xb7 Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an accounting/finance role.
\xc2\xb7 Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
\xc2\xb7 Experience with ERP systems (experience with Visual Next is considered an asset).
\xc2\xb7 Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize.
\xc2\xb7 Self-motivated and able to maintain deadlines for closing processes and project timelines.
\xc2\xb7 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
