Are you a seasoned accounting leader with a strategic and operational mind-set looking for a new role to contribute your skills? Our client, a longstanding family-owned construction business in Moncton, New Brunswick, is currently seeking a Controller to join their team. As a key member of the management team, you will play a pivotal role in contributing valuable insights and providing strategic guidance to drive the company\xc2\x92s continued success.Key Responsibilities for the Job:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements
• Budgeting, forecasting & variance analysis
• Monthly management reporting
• General ledger reconciliations
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Analysis and interpreting financial data
• Payroll supervision
• AR/Collections as needed
• Establishing and maintaining internal controls and procedures
• Supervision and mentorship of small finance team
• Other accounting duties as required

Experience & Attributes for Success:

• Post-secondary education in accounting or finance
• Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) or working towards is a definite asset
• 5 \xc2\x96 7 years\xc2\x92 experience in a similar, multi-faceted accounting role
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Experience with Jonas Premiere is an asset, or strong ability to learn systems and programs quickly
• Sound judgement and logical decision making
• Superior attention to detail coupled with solid organizational and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to interact in a dynamic environment
• Positive work ethic with focus on company success and efficiency
