If so, please keep reading as our client in the Mississauga area is looking to add a Controller to the team. This role will be primarily remote with in-office work being 1-2 days/week and for critical team meetings.
As the Controller, you will provide accounting, reporting and decision support to the General Manager. You will be accountable for leading the day-to-day accounting, banking, financial and project reporting, while adhering to government regulations, accounting standards and industry practices. You will also support the General Manager on analysis and new business. The Controller will have a team of direct reports that they will oversee, develop and mentor.

Job Requirements:
- CPA designation and post-secondary degree in Accounting.
- At least 5+ years of experience in public accounting firm or as a Controller or equivalent and experience managing and developing a team.
- Previous experience in Construction/Technology is preferred.
- Previous experience implementing an accounting software is an asset.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data from various sources.
