Responsibilities:
Manage the accounting functions for the plant, office and external reporting needs
Accurately report in a timely manner all facets of the daily and monthly reporting systems for the plant including, costing, billing, collections, payables, disbursements, balance sheets and income statements
Managing the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable by providing payroll, banking, and government reporting back-up to the Finance Director
Preparation of the annual audit package and to act as a primary liaison between Canduct and its outside public auditors
Liaise with the auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
Provide financial reports and interpret financial information
Analyze costs, pricing, and other financial data relative to the day to day operations of the business
Prepare and report on special projects as requested by Senior Management
Qualifications:
5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in manufacturing environment
College or University Degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
Working towards/possess accounting (CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA) designation
Highly technical accountant that has strong attention to detail and can offer process improvements and innovative solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of proficiency with MS Office(excel, word, powerpoint, outlook)
Experience in ERP software applications
Well-organized, proactive and detail oriented individual able to self-manage and work as part of a team in a dynamic fast paced environment
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and associated procedures
